Prayer in the present petition, filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in a case FIR No.57 dated 09.05.2025, registered under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC, at Police Station Division No.2, District Jalandhar. 2.
Vide order dated 23.06.2025, while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join investigation. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that pursuant to order dated 23.06.2025, petitioner has already paid an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- to the complainant. He has also submitted that petitioner has joined the investigation and as such his interim bail may be made absolute.
