Present petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking issuance of direction to the official respondents to protect their life and liberty at the hands of private respondents, as the petitioners are living together in live-inrelationship, against the wishes of private respondents. 2.

By referring the contents of the status report filed in the present case and the stand taken therein, learned State counsel submits that no threat perception to the life and liberty of the petitioners exists at this stage, and the present petition is liable to be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. 3.

In view of the specific stand taken in the status report, this petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to file a fresh petition for seeking protection, if any fresh cause of action of similar nature accrues to them in future, by citing specific instance(s) of threat to their life and liberty.

Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
