Petitioner, who is Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Village Moi, Tehsil & District Sonepat, has filed the present writ petition on the ground that vide letter dated 02.08.2016 (Annexure P2), he had informed the Deputy Commissioner, Sonepat that Panch-Poonam and others were not attending the meetings of Gram Panchayat regularly and as per Section 51(3)(d) of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, they were required to be removed from the posts of Panch, but no action has been taken thereon. Even on the representation dated 20.06.2017 (Annexure P3) having been made to respondent No.2-Director, Department of Development & Panchayats, Haryana, no action has been taken.

In view of above, present writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to respondent No.2-Director, Department of Development & Panchayats, Haryana to look into and take required action on the representation dated 20.06.2017 (Annexure P3) as per law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
