The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to release payment with respect to work carried out by him for the respondent.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that admitted liability would be discharged in due course subject to verification. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent may be subjected to interest @ 12% per annum from the date of passing bills.

In the wake of statement of both sides, the petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent to release payment to the petitioner within six months from today. If payment is not released within six months, the respondent would be liable to pay interest @ 9% per PRINCE CHAWLA 2026.05.29 17:49 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
