The prayer in the present Civil Writ Petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for restraining the respondents from proceeding ahead with process of recruitment of Soil Conservation Officers, in the Department of Soil and Water Conversation, Govt. Of Punjab, asper advertisement No. 5 (ii) (Annexure P-1).

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners, despite the case having been called out twice. Even on the last occasion when the case was taken up, none had appeared.

It appears the petitioner has lost interest in pursuing the present case.

Dismissed for non-prosecution.
