This matter is being taken up for hearing through video conferencing due to outbreak of the pandemic, COVID-19.

Grievance raised by the petitioner is that he was appointed as Peon and is serving at Government High School, Kabrel, Hisar, however, he is also being forced to perform the duty of Chowkidar on the school premises in addition to his duty and is being forced to render duty for 24 hours. Learned counsel for the State to whom an advance copy of this writ petition has been supplied, refutes the averments in the writ petition and has circulated copy of communication dated 13.10.2021 from the Headmaster of Government High School, Kabrel, Hisar to the District Education Officer, Hisar wherein it is specifically mentioned that it is only the work of Chowkidar and that too for eight hours, which is being extracted from the petitioner. Petitioner is not being asked to perform any work in addition thereto. Print out of communication dated 13.10.

2021 be taken and attached with the file. In this view of the matter, no orders are called for in this writ petition. Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous. Needless to say in case of any inaccurate facts being placed before this Court, petitioner is at OMKAR SINGH 2021.10.

CWP-21099-2021 -2liberty to file appropriate application. It is clarified that there is no expression of opinion on merits of the case.
