CM-16870-CWP-2018 Application is allowed, as prayed for, subject to all just exceptions. Order dated 17.03.1999 is taken on record as Annexure P12). CWP-24688-2018 Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to fix the pay of petitioners pursuant to the order passed by this Court in Pawan Kumar Dutta and Others v. The State of Punjab and Others (CWP-2483-1999, decided on 28.09.1999) and to consider the previous service rendered by them in spinning mills for the purpose of retiral benefits.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that for redressal of their grievance, petitioners got issued legal notice dated 24.04.2018 (Annexure P10), which is still pending with the respondents for DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2018.11.13 16:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document adjudication.

Civil Writ Petition No. 24688 of 2018 In view of above, present writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to the respondents to look into legal notice dated 24.04.2018 (Annexure P10) and take the required decision thereon, expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
