(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition is for quashing of the order dated 26.07.2016 (Annexure P-19), inquiry report dated 08.07.2016 (Annexure P-18) and order dated 26.07.2016 (Annexure P-19) whereby respondent No.4, who being a police officer had given evidence in favour of the accused in the murder trial case, has been exonerated; with a further prayer for quashing the order dated 12.09.2016 (Annexure P-20), whereby respondent No.4 has been given the charge of Superintendent of Police.

It is noticed that for the last 4th dates in succession, no one has been turning up for the petitioner and the position remains the same even today as well. It appears that the petitioner is no more interested in pursuing the present petition.

Dismissed for non-prosecution.
