The claimant/appellant has filed the present appeal for enhancement. Vide award dated 02.05.2023, the appellant was granted a compensation of ₹3,12,000/- along with interest. 2.

Learned counsel for the appellant as well as learned counsel for the Insurance Company have jointly submitted that the matter has been amicably settled before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and a detailed settlement agreement dated 29.09.2025 has been arrived at and as per the said settlement agreement, an amount of ₹3,25,000/- is to be paid to the appellant by respondent No.2. It has been jointly submitted that the said compromise has been entered into without any coercion or undue influence and it is prayed that the present appeal be disposed of in terms of the said compromise.

Keeping in view the abovesaid facts and circumstances, the present appeal is disposed of and the award of the Tribunal is modified in terms of the settlement agreement dated 29.09.2025. be bound by the terms of the said agreement.
