The issue raised in the petition is regarding re-determination of the compensation for the land acquired by the Jalandhar Improvement Trust, Jalandhar.

On 18.3.2016, while admitting the writ petition, the same was directed to be heard along with CWP No. 3370 of 2015, titled as Nirmal Singh and others vs. The Land Acquisition Collector, Jalandhar Improvement Trust, Jalandhar and others, which has been disposed of on 27.3.2017 in terms of detailed judgment in CWP No.12568 of 2013-- Manjit Singh vs. The Land Acquisition Collector, Jalandhar Improvement Trust, Jalandhar and others, on 28.2.2017.

Learned counsel appearing for the State fairly submitted that the issue raised in the present petition is squarely covered by the decision of this Court in Nirmal Singh's case (supra).

After hearing learned counsel for the parties and considering Sharmila Devi 2017.07.04 10:35 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP No. 5269 of 2016 -2the submissions noticed above, we are of the opinion that the present petition can be disposed of in terms of the order dated 27.3.2017 passed in Nirmal Singh's case (supra).
