Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the final promotion list dated 08.11.2017 (P-1), which is in violation of the Rules as per law.

At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from petitioner, submits that his grievance has been redressed, therefore, he wishes to withdraw the present petition.
