Vide order dated 29.08.2025 passed by this Court, the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court under the 'Special Mediation Drive - Mediation for the Nation'. 2.

Learned counsel for the parties today state that the matter stands settled between the parties out of the Court hence the case may be taken up and disposed off in terms of the compromise.

Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the matter since stands settled between the parties and that respondent No.3-Insurance Company is ready and willing to pay an amount of ₹6,00,000 (rupees six lakh), over and above the amount of compensation already awarded by the Tribunal, to the appellants as full and final settlement of their claim. Learned counsel for the respondent No.3-Insurance Company further states that the AMAN JAIN 2025.09.15 09:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

FAO-4295-2023 (O&M) -2respondent No.3 would give account payee cheques to the appellants as per their entitlement.

Learned counsel for the appellants, on instructions from the appellants, states that the appellants are agreeable to receiving the enhanced amount of ₹6,00,000 (rupees six lakh) over and above the amount already awarded by the Tribunal as full and final settlement. 5.

In view of the above, the present appeal is disposed off on the statements of the learned counsel for the parties that the respondent No.3Insurance Company would hand over account payee cheques to the appellants, as per their apportionment, totalling ₹6,00,000 (rupees six lakh), over and above the amount already awarded by the Tribunal, towards full and final settlement within a period of one month from today. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
