Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 & 3, to provide protection of life and liberty to the petitioners, who have married against the wishes of private respondents.

Both the petitioners and private respondents are residents of District Poonch (Jammu and Kashmir).

Faced with the aforesaid situation, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present petition, with liberty to file a protection petition before the appropriate forum/Court having the jurisdiction to entertain the matter.

Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty, as sought and recorded here-above.
