Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct official respondents for considering the case of petitioner and promote him as Lectuer (English) with effect from the date when his juniors including respondent Nos. 3 & 4 have been promoted. At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from petitioner, submits that his grievance has been redressed, therefore, he does not want to pursue the present petition any further.

Disposed off accordingly.
