(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.204 dated 18.10.2018 registered under Sections 353, 186, 332, 323 IPC at Police Station City Sunam, District Sangrur, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 16.07.2019 (Annexure P-5) arrived at between the parties.
Pursuant to order dated 24.01.2020 of this Court, the parties appeared before learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sunam, on 13.02.2020 to get their statements recorded. Learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sunam, has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.63 dated 17.02.2020, duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Sangrur, vide Endst. No.1440/EB dated 17.02.2020. According to the above report, parties have arrived at RAVINDER SINGH 2020.02.20 10:52 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
-2CRM-M-33665 of 2019 compromise with their free volition, without any inducement, threat, promise, coercion or undue influence from any quarter. Accused was not declared as proclaimed offender.
Therefore, in view of above and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, FIR No.204 dated 18.10.2018 registered under Sections 353, 186, 332, 323 IPC at Police Station City Sunam, District Sangrur, and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed.
Disposed of accordingly.
