(ORAL) This petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for quashing the e-auction notice (Annexure P-6) on the ground that several irregularities have been committed by the respondent-authorities while undertaking the process of auctioning.

It is evident from a perusal of a letter dated 01.07.2021 (Annexure P-2) that the Central Vigilance Commission has taken cognizance of the petitioner's complaint and has referred it to the CVO, Military Engineer Services to look into the matter and correspond with the petitioner for the purposes of taking the complaint to a logical conclusion. Learned counsel entering appearance on behalf of the respondents submits that the said letter has been received by the authorities for taking necessary steps including keeping in touch with the petitioner and thereafter proceed with the complaint by passing a reasoned order. In view of the aforesaid submission of learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the statement made by learned counsel for the respondents, the writ petition stands disposed of.

Needless to say that the respondent-authorities shall keep in mind the fact that the clouds on the auction proceedings need to be cleared before taking any final decision in the matter as far as possible within one month.
