*** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI, J. (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in service being a Class-IV employee for the last more than two decades but their services have not been regularized and that too, without valid justification, though their claim is squarely covered by the regularization policy, which was issued by the government on 11.11.2003.

Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that liberty be granted to the petitioners to approach the respondents for consideration of their claim for regularization in service from the date their juniors were regularized under regularization policy of the year 2003 and the respondents be directed to pass an appropriate speaking order in a time bound manner so that the petitioners does not suffer any further prejudice.

Learned State counsel submits that in case any legal notice/representation is received from the petitioners, the same will be decided in accordance with law within a period of 8 weeks on receipt of any such legal

2023:PHHC:110260 CWP No. 24814 of 2018 -2notice/representation. In case after the said decision, petitioners are found entitled for any relief, the same will be extended to them within a further period of 4 weeks.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that keeping in view the statement made by the learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further with liberty as aforesaid. Ordered accordingly.
