(Oral) Petitioner is seeking direction to the respondents to consider his candidature under General category for the post of PGT (Political Science), pursuant to advertisement dated 28.06.2015 (P-1). On 27.09.2018, this Court passed the following order:- "Petitioner is participating in the selection process for the post of PGT Political Science in General Category. As per answer kay uploaded on the website, the petitioner has got 118 marks, whereas the last candidate, who has been called for interview, has got 100 marks. The petitioner had participated for the scrutiny of documents on 23.02.2017, 27.02.2017 to 06.03.2017. But, she has not been called for the interview.

CWP No. 24879-2018 Learned State counsel has produced the result of the petitioner in a sealed cover, which has been opened by the Reader of this Court. As per result, the petitioner has secured 34 marks in written examination and 08 marks in viva voice (total 42 marks) and and the last candidate has secured 129 marks under General category.

In view of the above factual position, the writ petition stands dismissed, as the petitioner has secured less marks than the last candidate. The result has been returned back in original to learned State counsel in the Court today.
