(Oral) In the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking direction to the respondents to restore his electricity connection and electricity supply to the premises of the petitioner which had been disconnected vide assessment order dated 16.08.2012 (P-2) and for installation of temporary electric connection.

It is not disputed between the parties that in the disputed premises, there were three tenants including petitioner and recovery of electricity bill amounting to Rs.5,37,398 was issued to the owner. The first tenant i.e Ms. United Sales Corporation and others have already paid his share i.e Rs.1,34,348/- and the present petitioner has also paid his share Rs.1,34,348/-, in compliance of order dated 23.04.2013. CWP No. 8463-2013 already stands disposed of on 01.03.2016 by giving liberty to the Administration to recover the amount from any of the occupier of the demised premises and take appropriate steps.

Since the petitioner had already paid his share i.e Rs.1,34,348/-, learned counsel wishes to withdraw the present petition. Dismissed as withdrawn. However, a liberty is granted to the Administration to recover remaining Rs.1,34,348/- from 3rd tenant in accordance with law. Further the respondents shall restore the electricity supply to the premises of the petitioner, which was disconnected vide impugned assessment order.
