ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) At the outset, learned State counsel per his instructions states that case of the petitioner has already been recommended favorably, for appointment on the post of Taxation Inspector. 2.

In view thereof, proceedings before this Court are rendered infructuous. Respondents are directed to take expeditious steps for doing the needful.

It is expected of the respondents to accord the benefit of seniority to the petitioner in accordance with his merit with effect from the same date when other candidates were offered appointment. Needless to say, petitioner shall not be entitled to any monetary benefits for the period he remained out of job.
