***** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI, J. (ORAL) In the present petition, the prayer of the petitioner is that the petitioner should be considered under the general category for the post of PGT (Computer Science) as she was married and no more a dependent on the Ex-serviceman.

Vide interim order dated 27.09.2018, the petitioner was directed to be provisionally interviewed and her result was to be kept in a sealed cover.

Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that the result of the petitioner may kindly be perused to adjudge whether, the prayer of the petitioner needs adjudication upon on merits or the same has been rendered academic.

Learned State counsel has produced the result of the petitioner in a sealed cover, the same has been perused by this Court and found that SONIKA 2022.07.25 16:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP No.24903 of 2018 --2-- the last selected candidate for the post of PGT (Computer Science) in general category, in which, the petitioner was competing, has secured more marks than her.

Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner requests that the present petition has been rendered academic and same may be disposed off having been not pressed.
