The main grievance which propelled the present petitioners to approach this Court by casting instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is the indolent and lackadaisical approach of the authority concerned, in not deciding their representation dated 06.10.2025 (Annexure P-19).

2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that at this stage, the petitioners would be satisfied, in case a mandamus is passed upon respondents, to take a final decision on their representation (supra), in a time bound manner.

In view of the above, and considering the prayer, as made by learned counsel for the petitioners, innocuous and bona fide, this Court, without observing anything on merits of the instant case, directs respondents no.1 and 2-University, to take a final decision on the representation (supra), by passing a speaking order, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 5.

It is expected that the respondents no.1 and 2, shall adhere to statement, as made before this Court by their counsel. 6.

In case the representation (supra), is not decided within the stipulated time period, the petitioners would be at liberty to get revive the instant petition, by filing an apposite application, 7.
