(Oral) Petitioner has approached this Court praying for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to make the correction in the result of the petitioner for the post of Primary Teachers, in terms of advertisement No. 2/2012 dated 08.11.2012 (P-6) At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per selection criteria, maximum 07 marks have been allotted to HTET/STET and 0.10% marks are to be taken into account but as per information received by the petitioner under RTI Act, the petitioner has been awarded marks as under:- 10+2=0.28 D.Ed=24.163 B.A.=2.00 STET= NIL Intervew=22 GAURAV ARORA 2016.05.10 14:54 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP No. 634 of 2015 -2On notice, respondents have filed written statement wherein they have admitted this mistake and stated that the Haryana Staff Selection Commission has considered the eligible candidature of petitioner under Roll No. 44414683 in General Category for the post of PRT against advertisement No. 2/2012, Category No. 1 and after consideration, the respondent-Commission has awarded the marks of HTET and the petitioner has now been selected in the selected list at Sr. No. 1640-A. Vide letter dated 01.02.2016, the Commission has recommended the name of the petitioner to respondent No. 2 qua issuing of appointment letter to the petitioner. In view of the above factual position, the writ petition is allowed and direction is issued to the respondents to issue appointment letter to the petitioner, as per Rules by treating the name of the petitioner at Sr. No. 1640-A, as admitted by the respondents.
