The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, 1950 seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing of order dated 01.08.2017 (Annexure P-17) vide which the respondent No.1 has refused to provide electric connection at the house of the petitioner as well as order/memo dated 28.06.2016 (Annexure P-2). A further direction has also been sought to restore the electric connection of the petitioner.

Reply by way of affidavit of Er. Jatinder Singh, Addl. S.E., City Division, District Tarn Taran has been filed today in Court. The relevant extract of the same reads thus:

"2. That it is pertinent to mention that pursuant to the memo dated 01.08.2017 (Annexure P-1) respondent No.4, Narinder Kaur appeared before the answering respondent and produced the registry regarding the house in dispute and after considering the documents, the connection to the house of the petitioner has RAJENDER KUMAR 2022.11.17 10:32 i attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

 




been restored on 09.05.2018 under the account No.AC23/2963, having serial no.1625243, in the name of Narinder Kaur, who is respondent No.4 and the mother of the petitioner and is also residing in the same house as the petitioner has mentioned in para no.3 of the writ petition."
