(ORAL) By way of the present writ petition, the petitioners have raised a grievance with regard to the inaction of the respondents in deciding the complaints submitted by the petitioners regarding the alleged embezzlement of Panchayat funds.

Ms. Upasna Dhawan, Asst. A.G., Haryana, who appears on advance notice, on instructions from Mr. Ankur Kumar, BDPO, Sonipat, submits that an inquiry is being conducted into the allegations of embezzlement of the Panchayat funds. The same was marked by the Deputy Commissioner to SDO, Panchayati Raj, Sonipat. She further submits that the inquiry shall be concluded within a period of two months from today.
