The prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to grant the retrospective appointment to the petitioner alongwith service benefits towards increments, seniority, promotion, ACP etc., with regard to which a representation dated 17.03.2023, Annexure P-8, has been submitted which has yet not been evoked any response. Learned counsel relies on the judgment passed by this Court in Amit Kumar and others vs. State of Haryana and others, CWP-14591-2023, decided on 16.12.2023, Annexure P-7. He, on instructions, prays that the petitioner would be satisfied, in case a time bound direction is given to the respondents to decide the same, keeping in view the aforesaid judgment.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. Harish Nain, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and has no objection to the limited prayer made.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents HAMANT 2024.08.02 16:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

CWP-18144-2024 to decide the representation dated 17.03.2023, Annexure P-8, within a period of four months, taking note of the afore-referred judgment, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
