The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to refer his application filed under Section 18 of Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (for short '1894 Act') vide Diary No.113 dated 13.05.2019 to the Ld. Reference Court/District Judge for adjudication.

As per pleadings, land of the petitioner was situated in Village Chao Majra, Tehsil and District SAS Nagar, Mohali. Respondent No.2Collector vide award No.527 dated 13.12.2011 acquired his land to develop IT City. He vide application dated 13.05.2019 under Section 18 of 1894 Act SUDEEPAK KUMAR 2026.07.01 17:31 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
-2sought reference to Court for enhancement of compensation. Similar reference applications were filed and subsequently adjudicated. 3.
Learned State counsel submits that jurisdictional Collector would consider and decide fate of petitioner's application dated 13.05.2019, if any, on record. The jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner would also examine whether petitioner has actually filed aforesaid application or not. 4.
In the wake of statement of learned State counsel, the petition stands disposed of.
