(Oral) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondents no.2 to 4 to release the outstanding contractual dues amounting to ₹25,49,803 along with interest at the rate of twenty-four per cent per annum from 08.08.2025 to the date of actual payment. 2.
The amount is statedly due to the petitioner for the work allotted to it pursuant to acceptance of tender for Rehabilitation of Sewerage System by Super Sucker Machine, etc. vide letter dated 23.06.2025, Annexure P-1. 3.
Learned State counsel, appearing on advance notice, upon instructions from Mr. Arvind, Executive Engineer, Punjab Water Supply & Sewerage Division No.2, Jalandhar, submits that the aforementioned due amount shall be released to the petitioner within three months.
