       The only prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner for a direction to the respondent-university to consider and take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 20.07.2023 (Annexure P-8) wherein the petitioner has prayed for consideration of his case for admission in B.Tech. course in the respondent university. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab appearing on behalf of the respondentState of Punjab submits that the respondent-University would consider and take a decision on the petitioner's representation (Annexure P-8) expeditiously.

In view of the statements made by learned counsel for the parties and taking the same on record, the petition stands disposed of. Since the petition has been disposed of at the motion stage, the petitioner shall submit a certified copy of the order passed today alongwith copy of the petition before the respondent-university. It is, however, made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
