Present writ petition is for quashing the action of the respondent-banks, whereby recovery was ordered to be effected from the petitioners on account of amount of leave travel concession paid to them. Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that petitioners herein retired before 01.01.2006 and they had already drawn the amount of leave traveling concession and the case of petitioners is squarely covered by the ratio of judgment rendered by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Khazan Chand & Others v. State of Punjab & Others (Civil Writ Petition No. 23198-2015, decided on 06.10.2017). Learned counsel further contended that for this purpose, representation dated 23.02.2015 (Annexure P7) has been made.

Petitioners are claiming the relief on the basis of judgment rendered by this Court in Khazan Chand's case (supra), which was decided DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2018.10.11 15:05 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Civil Writ Petition No. 25037 of 2018 on 06.10.2017 and thereafter, they have not made any representation before the authority. As such, present writ petition, being not maintainable at this stage, stands dismissed. However, petitioners are at liberty to move appropriate representation before the competent authority expeditiously.
