The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent to issue her appointment letter of Female Constable (General Duty). 2.
The petitioner belongs to SC Category. She pursuant to advertisement No.8/2015 dated 19.07.2015 applied for the post of Female Constable (General Duty). Two hundred seats were reserved for SC Category candidates. As per terms and conditions, a female candidate was required to complete 2.5 km run in 15 minutes. The petitioner completed 2.5 km run in less than 12 minutes, thus, she was granted 11 marks out of 15 marks.
