******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Heard Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no case is registered against the petitioner at Police Station Sadar Nabha, District Patiala but he is being called unnecessarily by ASI Manjit Singh at police station and a representation (Annexure P-3) was made to Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala (Rural) to this effect but no action has been taken.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala (Rural) to look into the representation of petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of copy of this order. However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to the petitioner from any action taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated/pending against him in accordance with law.
