Petitioner is working as Post Graduate Teacher in Biology. Presently she is posted at Government Senior Secondary School, Naraingarh, Ambala. Her grievance is that her request for grant of Child Care Leave(CCL) from 01.09.2020 to 18.05.2021 in terms of Rule 46 of the Haryana Civil Services(Leave) Rules, 2016, has been partially accepted and restricted to three months only i.e. upto 30.11.2020. The respondents have shortened the period of CCL, for no valid reason. Even legal notice dated 14.10.2020(Annexure P-11) has not been replied till date.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, submits that petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider her genuine as per legal notice dated 14.10.2020 (Annexure P-11). 3.

Ms. Ranjana Shahi, Addl. AG Haryana, who has joined the proceedings on advance service of copy of petition, accepts notice on behalf of respondents.

In view of restricted prayer of the petitioner, no further pleadings are required. Without adverting to the merits of the case, petition herein is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to objectively consider the legal notice(Annexure P-11) and decide the same by passing a speaking order, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, on receipt of a certified copy of this order. Meanwhile, CCL of the petitioner shall be extended till the date of passing of fresh orders and thereafter extended or declined, subject to the final outcome thereof.
