Prayer in this writ petition is for setting aside order dated 07.02.2015 (Annexure P1) wherein petitioners' claim for compensation under the Punjab Victim or their Dependents Compensation Scheme, 2011, has been dismissed. As per short reply dated 22.06.2016 filed on behalf of respondent No.2, it is fairly stated that the impugned order has been passed, apparently due to an inadvertent error. It is further stated in para 5 of this reply that the matter be referred back to the Victim Compensation Committee for passing appropriate orders as per notification dated 05.03.2014.
