G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) The present writ petition seeks direction to decide the representation dated 01.11.2017 (Annexure P-1). The query of the petitioner, as per the said representation, is as under:- "That now the query is "that whether the candidates who had been given relaxation and served as Lecturer/Assistant Professor in view of the notification vide memo No.7/66-2003C-IV(3) dated 4.10.2006 are entitled for 10 marks earmarked against teaching experience or not".
In the opinion of this Court, the present writ petition is not maintainable in view of an alternative and efficacious remedy available to the petitioner under the Right to Information Act, 2005. Faced with this situation, counsel does not press the present writ petition and prays for withdrawal of the same with liberty to seek his alternative and efficacious remedy, as noticed above. Ordered accordingly.
