The prayer in this second petition under Section 438 CrPC/482 of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 is for grant of anticipatory bail in case DDR No.22 dated 24.05.2024 (Annexure P-1), registered under Section 323, 324, 326, 148, 149 of IPC, (Section 201 of IPC added later on), registered at Police Station City Chatiwind, District Amritsar (Annexure P1) in FIR No.33 dated 18.03.2024 under Sections 307, 323, 324, 427, 506, 148, 149 of IPC and Sections 25, 27 of Arms Act, registered at Police Station City Chatiwind, District Amritsar (Annexure P-2). 2.

Status report by way of affidavit dated 27.08.2025 of Lakhwinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Attari, Amritsar (Rural), filed on behalf of the respondent-State in the registry is taken on record.

On 25.06.2025, the following order was passed:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, submits all the petitioners are granted the concession of pre-arrest bail by this Court, however, later on Section 201 of IPC has VISHAL VARDHAN 2025.11.20 18:57 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-33302-2025 (O&M) -2been added. He submits that the petitioners have never misused the concession already granted by this Court and they are ready to join the investigation as and when called by the Investigating Officer.

Notice of motion for 28.08.2025.

Mr. Siddharath Sandhu, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, appears through video-conferencing; accepts notice on behalf of respondent- State; seeks time to have instructions and / or file response in the matter. In the meanwhile, petitioners will join investigation before the Investigating Officer as and when called. In the event of their arrest, the Arresting Officer would admit them to interim bail, till the next date of hearing, on their furnishing adequate bail bonds/ surety bonds to his satisfaction. The petitioners are directed to abide by all the conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023."

Today, learned State counsel has informed this Court that the petitioners have joined the investigation, in compliance of the order dated 25.06.2025 and are no longer required for further investigation. 5.

In view of the aforesaid, the order dated 25.06.2025, whereby the petitioners were granted interim anticipatory bail, is hereby made absolute. However, they shall continue to join investigation, if and so required by the Investigating Officer.
