Learned counsel for Municipal Council, Thanesarrespondent no. 4 submits that present petition has been rendered infructuous as contract with the petitioner came to an end on 30.09.2014, Annexure P1.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not controvert the aforesaid contention.

In view of above, this petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.

Petitioner shall, however, be at liberty to seek revival in case any cause of action survives.
