At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, during the pendency of the present writ petition, unfortunately the demise of the petitioner has occurred. It is further submitted that despite efforts having been made to bring the legal representatives of the petitioner on record, they are not inclined to pursue the present writ petition. 2.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution. However, liberty is reserved in favour of the legal representatives of the petitioner to file an appropriate application seeking revival of the present writ petition, if the cause of action or their grievance continue to subsist.
