*** Since the trial is at the fag end, inasmuch as after closure of evidence of the prosecution statement of the accused had been recorded under Section 313 Cr.P.C and defence evidence is being led by the accused, therefore, the proceedings are likely to be concluded in near future. Therefore, no ground of bail to the petitioner during pendency of the trial is made out. The petition stands dismissed. However, the trial Court is directed to make earnest efforts to conclude the trial within two months from the date of receipt of copy of the order subject to the petitioner accused rendering the necessary assistance by concluding his defence evidence at the earliest and his counsel addressing the arguments on the date fixed. A copy of this order be sent the Court concerned through District and Sessions Judge, Barnala.
