Dated Police Station Sections 24.08.2022 State Vigilance Bureau, Ambala 13(2) & 13(1)E of PC Act 1988 Seeking quashing of above captioned FIR, petitioner has come up before this Court by filing the present petition under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023.

After arguing for some time, petitioner's counsel submits that he would be contended and satisfied if a direction is issued to conclude the investigation in a time bound manner.

After interacting with Inspector Parveen Kumar, who is present in the Court, counsel for the State submits that they need atleast six months time to conclude the investigation. However, the investigator agrees to the Court's suggestion to complete the investigation by 31.12.2024.

Given above, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the investigator to complete the investigation by 31.12.2024. Liberty reserved to the petitioner to approach this Court again if the investigation is not completed by end of this year. Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
