(Oral) The present petition has been filed in the nature of Habeas Corpus for appointment of a Warrant Officer for search of the alleged detenue namely Nisha Rani daughter of Harmesh Lal-petitioner herein resident of Village Sural Kalan, Tehsil Rajpura, District Patiala at the premises of respondents No.4 and 5 or at any other place to be pointed out by the petitioner.

Mr. H.P.S. Ghuman, Advocate enters appearance on behalf of respondents No.4 & 5 and files his Power of Attorney. The same is taken on record. Registry is directed to tag the same at an appropriate place. 3.

It is informed to this Court by learned counsel for the respondents No.4 & 5 that detenue-Nisha Rani and Jashan i.e. respondent No.4 have performed marriage and that they had already approached the Court of Sessions Judge, Fatehgarh Sahib, wherein an order was passed granting protection to their life and liberty. It is thus contended that the alleged detenue is not in an unlawful, illegal and unauthorized custody as alleged.

Under the given circumstances, the present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous but without prejudice to the rights of the petitioner to file an appropriate petition raising any challenge to the impugned orders.
