Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to consider the case of promotion of the petitioner as Grade-I Electrician. But despite the recommendation of his name by the respondents vide letter dated 07.02.2011 (Annexure P1), he has not been promoted. His detailed representation dated 10.05.2015 (Annexure P4) to this effect, made to respondent No.1, and subsequent reminders dated 10.02.2016 (Annexure P5) and dated 10.05.2018 (Annexure P7) are still pending for decision. In view of above, present writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to respondent No.1 to look into the matter and take required action on representation dated 10.05.2018 (Annexure P7), made by the petitioner, expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
