Father of the petitioner while working as Lineman with PSPCL died in harness on 22.5.2014. Following his death, petitioner was appointed as Electrician Grade-2, on compassionate basis, vide 23.9.2015 (P-2). Since petitioner was not allotted place of posting, hence present writ petition.

Notice of motion was issued.

At the time of hearing counsel for the petitioner states that the present petition has become infructuous, as petitioner has been permitted to join his duties.

Accordingly,present petition is disposed of as having become infructuous.
