The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus for directing the respondents to complete the regular inquiry against respondent No.7, which is stated to be pending before respondent No.4 (Additional Deputy Commissioner, Karnal).

Ms. Upasana Dhawan, AAG, Haryana, who has appeared on behalf of respondent/State in this case, pursuant to the advance copy of petition having been sent to the State, on instructions of Mr. Gurmolak Singh, BDPO, Indri Karnal, submits that the regular inquiry against respondent No.7, which is pending before respondent No.4 (Additional Deputy Commissioner, Karnal) would be completed within a period of three months from today.
