Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the letter dated 31.08.2021, whereby the respondents refused to convert the unfilled/vacant post of Assistant Professor Physics (College Cadre) belonging to Economic Backward Person in General Category to General/un-reserved category.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue involved in this case already stands decided in Neeraj Kumar and another vs. State of Haryana and others, CWP-4374-2024, on 26.02.2024. He thus, at this stage, on instructions, prays that a direction be given to the respondents to reconsider his claim, keeping in view the aforesaid judgment, in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection. 3.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to reconsider and decide the claim of the petitioner, keeping in view the aforesaid judgment, within a period of 4 months, in accordance with HAMANT 2025.01.10 16:52 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-21232-2021 - 2law, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
