The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of FIR No.102 dated 25.06.2013 registered under Sections 406 and 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Bhawanigarh, District Sangrur and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 14.02.2012 (Annexure P-2).

As per the averments made in the petition, the husband of the complainant-Ranjit Kaur, namely, Darshan Singh has been missing since TRIPTI SAINI 2023.08.21 09:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

2023:PHHC:107772 CRM-M-39716-2022 (O&M) -212.04.2014 and the remaining accused have filed the present petition for quashing of the FIR. A compromise appended with the petition is dated 14.02.2012, which has been entered into by Ranjit Kaur and Darshan Singh only and none of the petitioners are party to the said compromise. 3.

Faced with the same, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh along with compromise entered into between the complainant-victim and the petitioners.

Dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
