Versus
Union of India and others ......... Respondents
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJBIR SEHRAWAT Present :
Mr. Nikhil Anand, Advocate, for the petitioner. Mr. Ashish Rawat, Advocate, for the respondents. ***** RAJBIR SEHRAWAT, J. (ORAL) This is a petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of certiorari quashing the order dated 08.11.2017 (Annexure P-5) and also seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 09.11.2017 (Annexure P-6) of the petitioner and to decide the said representation before relieving the petitioner and to stay the operation of the impugned order dated 08.11.2017 (Annexure P-5). Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that since the petition is related to the transfer of the year 2017, and thereafter, the petitioner has been transferred multiple times, therefore, he does not wish to press the present petition. However, he would be grateful if the respondents consider his case for requested transfer in future; as and when further transfers are made by the respondents.
In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
