Reply by way of short affidavit of Sukhwinder Singh, Superintendent, Central Jail, Bathinda, has been filed in court today. According to the same, convict-petitioner is entitled to 84 days of parole for a calendar year, which can be divided half yearly or quarterly. As per record, the petitioner had already availed this period of parole. Para 03 of the reply reads as under:- "That as per Punjab prisoner's good conduct (Temporary release) Amendment Act 2015 a convict can avail 84 days of paroles in a calendar year which can be divided in half yearly or quarterly. As per record petitioner has already availed 84 days of parole (Two Paroles each of 06 weeks) for the calendar year of 2018 which are mentioned below:- S. No.
