(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent-Senior Regional Manager, Food Corporation of India, Punjab Region, Sector 31, Chandigarh to consider the legal notice dated 16.11.2016 (Annexure P-19) and pass a speaking order thereon in terms of the order dated 03.01.2017 (Annexure P-17) which has been passed in terms of the order dated 28.07.2016 (Annexure P-16) within a time bound manner.

Without going into the merits and demerits of the claim of the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent-Senior Regional Manager, Food Corporation of India, Punjab Region, Sector 31, Chandigarh to consider the legal notice dated 16.11.2016 (Annexure P-19) sent by the petitioners and pass a speaking order thereon in terms of the order dated 03.01.2017 (Annexure P-17) which has been passed in terms of the order dated 28.07.2016 (Annexure P-16) as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction.
