DEEPAK MANCHANDA, J.(ORAL) The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.76 dated 5.6.2022, under Section 323, 324, 34 IPC (Section 326 IPC added later on), Police Station Sadar Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Vide order dated 2.9.2022, while issuing notice of motion to the respondent-State, interim protection was extended to the petitioner. Learned State counsel assisted by ASI Prabhjot Singh submits that in compliance of the order dated 2.9.2022, the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation for the time being.
